TRAVEL FAQ's FOR TRAVEL WITH MANNA WORLDWIDE:
WHO MAY PARTICIPATE ON A MANNA TRIP?
Our trips are open to everyone 18 years of age or older. Minors between the ages of 14 and 18 may join one of our trips providing they are accompanied by a parent or supervising adult with written parental consent.
WHERE DOES MANNA TRAVEL?
Because MANNA operates ~160 different projects in ~50 different countries, we have opportunities to travel to all our locations on a consistent basis. In any given year, MANNA trips are scheduled to visit as many projects as possible. However, not all countries are visited in a given year.
HOW LONG ARE THE TRIPS?
The typical trip is 5 to 10 days in duration. Trip length is determined based upon destination.
WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATIONS WILL WE STAY IN?
Your accommodations will be either a hotel or guest house. MANNA routinely stays in predefined establishments that are clean, comfortable and safe.
DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes, all MANNA trips are to international destinations. For more information or to acquire a passport: International Travel Information
WILL I NEED IMMUNIZATIONS?
There is a good possibility you will need immunizations to safeguard your health while on a MANNA trip. Your tour leader will inform you of any required and or recommended immunizations you should receive prior to your trip. For more information about immunizations and foreign travel: CDC - Travel
SHOULD I PURCHASE TRAVEL MEDICAL INSURANCE?
No, a travel medical insurance policy is included in the cost of your trip. Trip cancellation insurance is not included in the cost of the trip. REGISTRATION PROCESS:
All prospective participants will be required to submit a completed “Short Term Mission Application”, and pay a $110.00 non refundable deposit at time of registration, in order to secure a spot on the trip.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE TRIP?
Costs will vary depending upon destination and duration of trip.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
• $110.00 non refundable deposit due at time of registration.
• Further payment arrangements determined by trip leader.
• Total cost of trip is due 1 month prior to trip.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COST?
Airfare, lodging, ground transportation, travel insurance and most meals.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE TRIP?
Spending money, souvenirs, snacks, any optional recreational activities, and some meals while on the road.
